The work Huashan Day deeply explores the cultural connotations of the Huashan rock paintings in Chongzuo, Guangxi. It integrates ancient rock art elements with modern design language, creating a design piece that features both profound cultural heritage and practical value, allowing traditional culture to thrive in contemporary life. This award reflects the university's long-term emphasis on innovative education and encouragement for students to combine academic research with design practice.

As a first-year PhD student in Design at City University of Macau, standing on the international stage of the iF Design Award is a precious recognition for me. This honour would not have been possible without the university’s education and the guidance of my teachers. It has also strengthened my research direction of exploring traditional culture through design innovation. In the future, I will keep moving forward with this encouragement, continuously exploring in the field of design, and bringing more Chinese cultural elements to the world through my works.
