Recently, the winners of the 10th Oriental Design Award-National College Innovation Design Competition were announced. Under the guidance of Assistant Professor An Shun, the work "Tree Detection Environmental Protection Lamp" by Zhang Xinyu, an undergraduate student of FIAD, won the First Prize in the national final (non-proposition) undergraduate and graduate category of the award.

Oriental Design Award - National College Innovation Design Competition is jointly sponsored by the National Industrial Design Institute and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. This award focuses on the integration and innovation of multiple disciplines, and advocates the combination of science and art, technology and design.
