Recently, our 2021 undergraduate design and art students Jin Dian, Ma Jianwei, Xuan Ziqing, and Chiang Guo Judy, under the guidance of Associate Professor Ren Yujie, were honored with the Bronze Award at the 2024 SGADC Singapore Sands Art Design Competition and the Outstanding Award at the 4th ICAD International Contemporary Youth Art Design Competition. Associate Professor Ren Yujie was also awarded the Excellent Instructor Award.

1. Singapore Sands Art Design Competition

The Singapore Sands Art Design Competition is a grand event sponsored by the Singapore Sands Art Museum and jointly organized by the Singapore Art Research Association and the Singapore Art Research Association International Art Development Promotion Association. The competition aims to strengthen the understanding of design among domestic and international young art designers, encourage the integration of diverse design concepts, and promote cross-boundary collaboration. At the same time, the competition also emphasizes issues such as sustainability and social responsibility, creating a better living environment and experience for people around the world. This competition is not only a response to current social needs but also an active exploration of future design development and has a high international influence.

2. 4th ICAD International Contemporary Youth Art Design Competition

The 4th ICAD International Contemporary Youth Art Design Competition is a cultural and artistic design competition hosted by the International Youth Art Design Association and the Asia-Pacific Youth Art Design Research Institute, organized by the International Contemporary Youth Art Design Competition Organizing Committee, and co-organized by the Guizhou Ethnic Art Industry-Education Collaboration Center and the Southwest Youth Art Designers Alliance. The competition aims to strengthen the understanding of art among domestic and international young art designers through the event, gather the exchange and cooperation of outstanding young artists, designers, and art workers from both sides of the strait and the three regions, and promote the continuous and stable development of the contemporary youth art cause.
