The 5th Milan Design Week - Excellent Works Exhibition of Design Discipline Teachers and Students in Chinese Universities was awarded



In the 5th Milan Design Week -- Excellent Works Exhibition of Design Disciplines of Chinese Colleges and Universities under the guidance of Chinese Higher Education Association, Jiao Bin and Liang Xinyin, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Ren Yujie from School of Innovation and Design, City University of Macau, won the first prize and Chen Hongjin the third prize in the Macau competition. Sun Binbin and Ren Yujie's paper "Research on China's HPV Vaccination Service APP Design from the Perspective of Service Design" was selected into the collection of papers.

 

In addition, assistant professor Ren Yujie instructed the students in writing the paper:Research on China’s HPV Vaccination Service APP Design from the Perspective of Service Design, Application of Traditional Cultural elements of Hainan Li Nationality in the Design of Modern Residential Buildings, Research on Color Perception Experience of Macao Kiang Wu Hospital Building Exterior Based on  SD Scale.The winning design works focus on the individual development of the students and aim to show the students' own design style, which should be forward-looking, novel, practical and effective. From the architectural landscape modeling design, to the perspective of art illustration design creation.

 

The 5th Milan Design Week -- Excellent Works by Teachers and Students of Design in Chinese Universities will continue to be directed by the Chinese Society of Higher Education and organized by the Organizing Committee of "Milan Design Week -- Excellent Works by Teachers and Students of Design in Chinese Universities". Activities on Isaiah andpromote exhibition, exhibition and teach, "as the guiding ideology with linkage, promotes our country art design innovation of higher education personnel training system, for domestic excellent design disciplines professionals to provide international, high-level learning opportunity and platform for communication and display, communication and promote higher design education in China and progress. Based on the framework and foundation of architecture, landscape, interior, display, light environment and urban design, it fully connects international and domestic design circles, design universities, associations and organizations, and promotes the communication and development between academia and industry.

 

The industrialization of design art is an important part of Macao's development. The Institute of Creative Design (ICD), based on local and global perspectives, strives to form an authoritative professional teaching and research team, and steadily carries out cross-cultural and interdisciplinary teaching, research and practice. Under the premise of equal emphasis on teaching and scientific research, the College of Innovation and Design of City University of Macau (CUNM) was established according to the market demand of Macao and the Greater China region. We will continue to promote the development model of combining production, study and research, encourage students to explore and develop the distinctive culture of Macao, improve the overall art education and appreciation level of Macao, and promote the development of relevant design art industries. Encourage students and teachers to think more, do more, communicate more in class, personalized development, create a strong style, creative, meaningful, high social value of the design works. We also encourage you to take your achievements abroad, to compete and communicate with other universities and enterprises in various platforms including participating in competitions, and to practice the innovative ideas introduced by going global. All the winners of this award show the good qualities and attitude of UM students, who are diligent in thinking, good at doing and proactive. I hope they can make continuous progress in their future study and work.
