The 2018 International Home Expo and University Design Projects Competition, organized by the Macau Interior Design Association and JRG Convention and Exhibition Services, was held from August 24 to 26 at Macau Fishman Wharf Conference Center. FIAD Assistant Professor Zhou Long were invited to attend the opening ceremony on August 26.

The competition witnessed the growth and improvement of our students’ professional skills and design projects. Projects advised by Assistant Professor Li Meng-Shun and Assistant Professor Ren Yujie in the third year’s Interior Space Design and second year’s Model Making courses were exhibited in this year’s competition. The 912 Neighborhood Renewal Design won the Best Design Award and the 5,000 bonus. The projects received high praise from experts and social people, and through this exhibition, FIAD built tight connection with the design professional practice in Macau.
