The 5 students in environmental art participate in the summer overseas workshop of the Prague Institute of Architecture (ARCHIP) from July 23 to August 3, 2018.

The ARCHIP is an international design school featuring architecture and is one of the few architecture schools in Central Europe that teach English.

The theme of the 2018 workshop is Outer Limits: Exploring the limits of architecture.

The course introduce ideas exceeding established outer limits of architecture, touching the fields of politics, society, conceptual thinking, space and working conditions. During two weeks we will work with the premise of architects as organizers of knowledge, not just as designers. The goal is to achieve the open-mind state, find own personal fields of interests and strategies of working.

The participating schools include 26 students from Tianjin University of Technology, China Academy of Art, and Shanghai JiGuang Polytechnic College.

ARCHIP offers 5 awards, and 2 students from our school have obtained 2 of them, showing the competitive advantage of our students.

The Faculty of innovation and design's teaching facilities actively promote exchanges with overseas institutions related to architectural design and urban planning, and expect to provide students with a richer vision and design thinking.
