Master's student in Design: Wang Yucheng
It is a great honor to have won an award in this year's KTK Design Award - Global Chinese Design Competition. This award is not only an acknowledgement of my personal creation, but also an affirmation and encouragement of my continuous attempts and persistence on the path of design exploration.
Here, I would like to express my special gratitude to Associate Professor Ren Yujie for her meticulous guidance and recognition of my work creation. Through her works, I have learned how to integrate visual language with cultural thinking, endowing the design with more depth and warmth. Meanwhile, I sincerely thank the organizers for providing such an open and high-level international exchange platform for young designers, allowing me to constantly express myself, accumulate experience and keep growing in the process of creating works.
In the future, I will continue to explore richer humanistic expressions through design as a medium and think about how design responds to contemporary social and cultural issues. The School of Innovation and Design of City University of Macau will also continue to uphold the concept of "Virtue, Erudition, and Action", cultivating design talents with humanistic vision and social responsibility, and promoting young designers to shine on a broader stage.
