On the morning of February 27th, the torch launch ceremony for the 12th World Games 2025 was held at Tianfu Art Park in Chengdu.Guests at the scene, along with Huang Zhangjiayang, the gold medalist of the rhythmic gymnastics team event at the Paris Olympics, and Feng Benyuan, the lead designer of the torch and a 2021 doctoral candidate in design studies at our institute,  jointly unveiled the "Sichuan Brocade Gift Box," marking the official debut of"Zhu Meng," the first torch in the history of the World Games.

The torch for the Chengdu World Games is named "Zhu Meng," which means "pursuing dreams," echoing the torch relay slogan "Join Hands for the World Games, Ignite Dreams." The design of "Zhu Meng" cleverly utilizes the torch's shape, color, and symbolic patterns to convey the ethos of the World Games while showcasing China's cultural narratives with artistic finesse.

It is truly an honor for me to have been the main designer of the mascot "Shuey Rhon Rhon" for the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games as well as the torch "Zhumeng" for the Chengdu World Games. To have personally witnessed the birth of the first torch in the history of the World Games, "Zhu Meng", I feel extremely honored and proud. From the initial concept conception to the final product presentation, every step was very unforgettable. I am grateful for the learning process at City University of Macau, which has enabled me to constantly enrich myself and allowed my pursued dreams to shine brightly on the world stage.
