Recently, the winners of the 2024 YD Design Award were announced. Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Zhao Yulin, our academy's undergraduate students in Design and Arts, Chen Yuanxiang and Chen Liangyu, won the First Prize for their project "Breast Shape Measurement Product Design."

Since its inception, the YD Design Award has been dedicated to discovering and recognizing original and innovative design works. As a prestigious award covering five major design categories—graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, fashion design, and comprehensive design—it attracts participation from design students and professional designers across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Asia-Pacific region, and the global Chinese community.

This achievement reflects our academy’s long-standing commitment to innovation in education and the integration of theory and practice. We will continue to encourage students to explore creativity in their studies and contribute to the design industry by nurturing outstanding design talents.

"First of all, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the jury committee for recognizing our work. At the same time, we sincerely thank Professor Zhao Yulin for her meticulous guidance. Her valuable suggestions, unwavering support, and encouragement throughout the competition played a crucial role in laying a solid foundation for our achievement.

Winning the First Prize in the YD Design Award is truly an honor for us. This award is not only a high recognition of our previous-generation product design but also the best reward for our team's hard work. It has further motivated us to keep pushing forward. However, receiving this award is merely the beginning of our journey toward excellence.

We are excited about the development of our next-generation product. Compared to the previous version, the new design will more precisely address user pain points. In addition to conceptual breakthroughs, we will focus on enhancing stability, comfort, and practicality. At the same time, we are actively establishing and refining our delivery service system.

Currently, our product prototype has entered the production phase, and we are making every effort to push it forward. Our goal is to break existing limitations and create an innovative product with stronger market competitiveness.
