Asst. Prof. Meng-Shun LEE and Asst. Prof. Yu-Jie REN recently went to Hongcun, Anhui to participate in the "Huizhou traditional village activation creative design talent training" achievement exhibition and seminar of Huizhou traditional village activation creative design works held by Hefei university of technology.

The exhibition displays the theoretical framework of the activation and inheritance of Huizhou traditional villages, as well as the design scheme of functional remodeling and village community construction in relevant areas, providing important research materials and schemes for the protection and restoration of Huizhou traditional villages. The exhibition also displays cultural and creative products, village upgrading and transformation plans, landscape models and other exhibits, including spatial structural transformation of single abandoned buildings and overall renewal planning of village sections.

After the opening ceremony, the two teachers participated in the Huizhou traditional village activation creative design seminar. Asst. Prof. LEE made a speech on the supply and demand of traditional village renewal design, and Asst. Prof. REN made a speech on the brand design of traditional village culture and tourism cultural and creative products and the industrial chain of the market. Their speeches were unanimously recognized by the participants.
