The 2018 International Conference of CUMULUS was officially held in Jiangnan University in Wuxi from October 31 to November 3. City University of Macau is only one member in Macao. The Assistant Professor Ren Yujie of the Faculty of Innovation and Design of our university led a team of doctoral and graduate student to attend this conference, which theme was Diffused Transition & Design Opportunities. The forum organized series of special symposium and workshops around the theme of New Methods and Practices in Research Transformation of Design Science.

As the spring meeting of the biannual meeting of the International Union of CUMULUS, the conference was co-hosted by four public universities of applied arts, Boulle, Duperré, Estienne and Ensaama, in Paris, France, i.e. CESAPP. The conference attracted more than 300 participants from design art schools around the world attended the conference. During the international conference, Ph.D. students Zhou Junling was invited to give a report and communicated with other scholars.
