On February 18, 2019, the "Art Series Exhibition - Lu Yiling's Works Exhibition" sponsored by the Macao Foundation officially opened in City University of Macau's cultural center. Mr. Shao Bin, Assistant of the Chief of the Department of Education and Culture, the Central People's Government in Macau SAR, Ms. Zhong Yi, Vice President of the Administrative Committee, Macao Foundation, Zhang Shuguang, president of City University of Macau, Li Shuying , dean of studies, Sun Jiangtao, director of the Art Education Research Center, etc. and many teachers and students of City University of Macau attended the visit.

At the opening ceremony, Zhang Shuguang, president of City University of Macau said that the purpose of this exhibition is to carry forward the characteristics and advantages of City University of Macau 's art, dig deeper into the excellent art culture, through more excellent works, and present more excellent works to this city and present them to this great era. At the same time, welcome the outstanding travelling French female painter Lu Yiling and express my sincere thanks to the participants. Lu Yiling, the first session doctoral student of art in City University of Macau. In the future, one representative of each session outstanding doctoral student will be selected to hold a series of exhibitions. City University of Macau will contribute its due strength to the prosperity and development of the art cause.

This exhibition is a collection of works by Lu Yiling, an outstanding travelling French female painter——The Dream. In fact, there is no clear description of form and reality in The Dream. It can describe the imaginary world and feelings with a variety of ways. This impressive depiction shows the relationship be neither friendly nor aloof between the painter and the object. It is not only to treat the noumenon of landscape painting, but also to treat the objective landscape, which is also the performance of the young generation of artists in the process of ink creation, constantly thinking and exploring.

Each generation of artists has its own mission. For Lu Yiling, an artist with both an international perspective and the foundation of Chinese culture, whether or not to carry out a "meta-narrative" of ink and wash is not the first task, but a new concept and means, and expounds the connotation of Chinese culture by innovating media, finds out the joint point of dialogue with western culture, may be easier to adapt to the international ink creation and appreciation, even the foothold in the international art market. Their sensitive and spirit of exploration makes them catch up with their predecessors and at the same time open up a new visual space of taste, endow with new vitality and expressiveness of Chinese ink painting, and bring new development for Chinese ink painting.
